. O o (Upon request, ~Generic Enemies~ is up first.)
::Dwarf Woodlands::
---
It was early morning. I strode restlessly through the forest in an attempt to locate what I overheard the dwarves calling "a giant keyhole". The idea of one appearing in this world concerns me greatly, to say the least... So I figure that I should make my way towards the crystal-filled mines. Where else to find something of value than there?
---
You notice Aqua wandering through the woods, searching for something. You can: I. Continue to watch her from a safe distance, not making your presence known just yet. II. Make a mad dash towards her in an attempted ambush. III. Walk over leisurely to see what she's up to.

( ~.~ Whee, Vanitas~! I'm trying to stay in character as possible... Which, with candy...meh - shutting up and choosing now~. EDIT: By the by, first choice rocks my socks.)
Despite my wanting to walk over and utterly devastate the magically-inclined frustrating girl, what she's doing is somewhat visible from my perch. And it's more interesting than just siccing minor Unversed at her all the time; but only just.
You'd best keep my interest, girl...
With how...pleasantly somber this place is at the time; I can't help but crack a smile upon my own helm-obscured visage... Straining to read those lips and failing surely as I kept the distance on that high rock.

The grass rustled beneath my steel boots. But there was something else that caught my attention, as I stopped dead in my tracks. I couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was, but there was a heavy dark miasma settling uncomfortably in the air.
"But what could it be..." I thought aloud, as I progressed past some more trees until I reached the crystalized cavern.
---
I. Vanitas chooses to keep a distance. But his very presence catches the woman's attention, his darkness being something distinguishable in the Realm of Light. You can: I. Remain hidden, maybe she will continue on her way... II. Reveal yourself now that she's already paranoid... III. Take interest in something else since she is apparently doing nothing worth your while.

( ~.~ D'awww! I almost forgot about that catch, drats! Number 2, coming up!)
I had to grit my teeth. She was close enough to my position to be heard, a dangerous thing. Even though I had taken every lone precaution to keep myself hidden fully from sight, she still sensed my presence. That was unnerving, but she possibly held an edge of fear? No, it was paranoia, thick enough to cut with a knife. No turning back now.
So this is a game of cat and mouse, now. But who's which part?
As she was looking about the area, I entered the cave with a portal near the entrance, but I didn't dare make myself invisible anymore. The cave was dimly lit, anyways, and had an edge of an echo for my own snide laughter and footfalls as I paced in a taunting manner, ready to summon my Keyblade, Schwarzwind, even if I was a little drained from that portaling stunt.
"Well now... Shouldn't you be worrying over your mission rather than exploring some contrite little cave these impudent dwarves slave over?"
I turned to face her mockingly. "Easily spooked, easily forgetful - that's what you are."

At the sound of that oddly familiar voice, I pivoted my body around just enough to see the visitor. It was dark, but there was just enough light for me to be able to make out that hauntingly familiar noir helmet.
"You!" I hissed, summoning Rainfall with little hesitation. "What are you doing here?" I demanded, keeping a composed posture in spite of the rage boiling in my blood. After the torment he put everyone through... I found it difficult to look at him any other way.
---
II. Vanitas unveils himself to Aqua, as she comes close to butting heads with him. You can: I. Keep talking. There's no point in fighting when you need her to lead you to the target. II. Go on and summon your keyblade, jumbling your words to keep her guessing your antics. III. Attack without warning. Everyone loves a surprise attack.

( ~.~ And the plot thickens. But like all baddies arrogant, they love to ramble while being confusing. Choice two, again. EDIT: Moronic typos. They smite everyone equally.)
Of all the times I had to be a vicious attacker, I was going to have to play it as a wary adversary. UGH; I wanted to smack her about for some reason, but that wouldn't do! No, I wouldn't attack her without rhyme or reason...that window of opportunity was LONG gone.
Schwarzwind came out as I willed it to, but I didn't assume a fighting stance just yet. Maybe I could play off her emotions if they hinted theirselves enough at me once again; and get to the goal I had in mind while mocking her. "Give me one good reason, why I would explain the reason of my being here other than to just bring about misfortune."
If I could get her to make the first strike; then I'd have the upper hand if a fight came about. I had an inkling that doing this would be so fine to soil her good reputation she so bravely wore like a badge of honor. I took a half-step, almost taunting her to make the first strike, and to seal the first nail of her coffin later - I'd say something that would more than likely strike a nerve; preparing my off hand into a half-ready defensive position with the ending of my next statement: "I bet Terra's just glad that you're not watching him like a mother hen right now."
Come on - I'm not not poisonous - just so very twisted and vile... I'm seemingly WIIIIIDE open~!

I loathe him... So much.
I couldn't help but to clench my fist tightly, keeping a strong grip on Rainfall. When I heard his remark about Terra, I could feel my blood boiling under my skin.
"I'm only doing this... because Master cares about him..." I muttered quietly, but loud enough so the demon in front of me could hear it, "... as do I!" I continued, my voice becoming more and more aggressive with each word.
It's rather frightening... even for me...
"But you wouldn't understand that..." I paused, taking a long look into where I assumed his eyes were staring straight back at me, "... No... you couldn't understand, what it means to care about someone else... could you...?" my tone softened, though not out of empathy... but pity.
---
II. Aqua takes notice to Vanitas trying to play with her heart, though she has a hard time budging in his favor. You can: I. Keep talking her into the first attack. She's bound to explode eventually. II. Maybe talking isn't the best solution. Let's just walk away, and keep following her without her knowing. III. Make the first attack, and see what she does.

( ~.~ Nuuuuu, so close! Choice three, for the win!)
Oh, if only I had the time proper to talk more! As for my pride - I'm not running from this gratingly irritating woman so fast!
I baited her, letting my shoulders droop somewhat. Not wanting her to think I was still adamant about this fight; Schwarzwind seemed to vanish - a mere trick of the light that wouldn't last too much longer. "You're right..." I commented somberly, walking slowly to her, my good hand still holding my Keyblade, but loosely enough to be unnoticed for now that I grinned like a Cheshire. It was hard to agree with her disgusting drivel... "...I don't. But maybe..."
I stated, faking how she felt, if only for a mere moment in tone before dropping the illusion about my blade, refirming that grip out of a decent time; and now assuming a fighting stance. "...Maybe you should watch your own back?!" A bit of darkness materialized behind her; if only to try and beeline for my own Keyblade to empower it, should I make a total miss...
This WILL be fun~!

Predictable, as always... I straightened my posture, assuming my own battle stance. But for a moment, I'm sure I felt a strange aura... It was close by, and thick... or heavy. So I turned my head and noticed a cloud of darkness materializing right behind my back.
"Another stunt of yours?" I sneered, aiming Rainfall upwards, unleashing a small burst of bright light to ward off the shadow. "I won't let you get your way so easily! Your cold heart will make you decide on costly mistakes I'm sure you'll later regret," I warned him, though I doubted that it would hurt him too much inside.
---
III. Vanitas makes the first move, though Aqua tempts the light to try and dimish the darkness. You can: I. Create more darkness. The more the merrier! II. Withdraw the darkness that she tries to destroy, and attack with the keyblade! III. Pick your own solution! ((Bonus for you, since this is getting into a fight scene))

( ~.~ OH BRILLIANT! I can finally pull this off without getting the people angry at me for breaking the fourth wall. ILU! Choice Three! <3~. EDIT: Typos and Names of Unversed. And for once, we don't need to use the Die system. There's a good reason to be smiling about that~!)
Perfectly falling into my backup, Plan C! Plan C? I needed to think of it rather quickly! Wait a minute...the light had to be charged with some of her own emotions! Watching that look of pure terror would be worth getting my hand stung, and then also letting her have a free hit if I took that long!
Making the darkness mirror that light's emotions was a slightly painful thing to do with Schwarzwind summoned; so I pased it to my off hand before letting out with a slash at the two opposing forces; holding that minor incantation in my head. The one thing that I can certainly thank that other half of mine for is his innate speed - I barely got past Aqua like that. Both forces fizzled out at the same instant, but that little technique would leave her with her hands full. That Darkness was about enough for two Unversed had I found adequate enough emotions, and that would be enough for me to buy some time for some nefarious attack of my own.
Passing it back to my main hand, I dashed away three steps. "And you think you're prepared for a one-on-one against me? Nice try." Recalling that darkness that I had dispelled was a merely simple feat - Though I knew at least one was a Monotracker, the other one was hard to read. If it was helpful to her, then... it'd still be fun. No...a...Laser Bunny, one of sorrow that would have to be taken out first if she wanted to scratch either one of us safely. The one of Anger or myself. But wait a minute, now.
Who was feeling regret? Not me! I certainly wouldn't pity her... And it regestered then.
I; Vanitas, was being compared to a mere wimp?! I added more power to the Monotracker and the Laser Bunny, making the former smaller, but even more of a powerhouse; the second, grew larger; getting more endurance than usual. And in this tighter space, that would make me a harder foe, even without the laser-firing Unversed. "Take these on, lest they wreak havoc as well!" I cackled. This would surely give me about three minutes to delve further into the cave and think further on my strategy IF she started to fight them the hard way.

As the light and darkness dissipated at once, I felt Rainfall grow heavier. 'He can easily match the light of my keyblade and send it right back to the source...' I thought in silence, noticing the darkness reappear once more, this time in the form of two Unverse. I gripped onto Rainfall, preparing to charge at the two creatures-
Though I would have continued if it weren't for both Unverse changing in size and power. I jumped back a good distance to observe each of their changes. My eyes first met with the Monotracker's. 'It's become more powerful... If I get hit with one of those pickaxes... I'm done for...'. And then, I dropped my gaze toward the now somewhat larger Laser Bunny. 'I don't think I can deflect the lasers when they're almost twice the size as they normally are...'. With these modified Unverse coming into play, I needed to rethink my original strategy.
'It would be much easier if there were more space...'. Then, it clicked.
I looked around the cave and noticed hoards of huge diamonds surrounding the area. I quickly aimed Rainfall toward one of the larger diamonds stuck in the further right wall (which wasn't too far in comparison to the closeness of the enemies) and unleashed a sharp beam of bright light toward it. As I predicted, the light reflected off that one diamond onto several others around it. In turn, it created a dazzling light display that would perplex the beings of darkness.
I ran through the radiating splashes of light, cutting past the Unverse in an attempt to attack them from behind.
---
III. Aqua has used a "light reflection" strategy to confound your enemy forces! With this, she is making an attempt to destroy them quickly and move onto fighting against you. You can: I. Summon another enemy. Give it additional power. II. Summon another enemy. Give it additional speed. III. Summon another enemy. Give it additional accuracy. IV. Go in for an attack while she is focused on the Unverse. V. Retreat for now, and wait for her to find what she's looking for. Then make another attack when she least expects it.

( ~.~ Big leagues! Oh boy; choice five took so much deliberation as to how to set it up...)
Drat that woman to the darkness and back! Even though I wanted to charge and attack, how could I do so when I could barely see...?! It was about time for a tactical retreat... If I had been a bully past that grace period, then I knew that I'd be sharing the fate of my Unversed minions. I didn't care to watch when this light was radiating about, as it stung my eyes! Hard to believe how I could stand being in the realm of Light BECAUSE it hurt... But I had to, as per that old fool...! By the time she had dealt with them, I had retreated further into the cave.
How? With all that light bounding and then reflecting, I had no clue at all as to why it had happened besides a sheer defensive move, but the portal I had opened just lead me here...as if trying to seek out another kind of darkness, a type that could just be determined by how I felt. Scharzwind hung heavy in my good hand, and now; it seemed that I needed to wait for her to draw close. After that stunt and how close I was to it; I'd be even easier to find than a fruit to a fruit bat; though I was somewhat Mobile and able to defend myself... If Ventus, that WIMP, was asleep at the time, I could reach out to his dream for a little relief...! Sadly, I had no such luck. I gathered the darkness around me just like a slight curtain...no, almost like bandages with a salve, and soaked it in metaphorically... This was mentally tiring, but it at least soothed the blinding dazzle of what I had just been through to nothing, and it took away some of the physical pain from the multiple stinging bruises to my off hand.
Worthless. I knew I should've been there to guide their strategy, but either way, they had vanished and I had my small time of recuperation. The rest of that darkness in the area, I imagined it as brain food, and meditated a mere moment to clear my mind of that doubly concerning pity I had read from that woman to make those Unversed in the first place! Of course...the time to retreat was over...one of the gems in this area was perfectly reminding me of a tactic... This room was larger, but it still had some gems in there. There were even gems...on...the floor?
AHA! I now had my table turner. The best way to confound an enemy was to constrict movements! I ROCKED! Flinging the darkness that would go off harmlessly in a puff of black smoke if she paused when she stepped on a gem, I had also rigged it to not react to my aura... unless she was getting tricky. If she tried to rush or cartwheel about like a crazy person, then it'd go off and make a lovely setup after the black spark faded. Now, the last thing to do was to show I was weary past what I felt at this time - that overly weak act did often serve the old loony well enough!
"Drat it! You're rather persistent!" I commented sourly, as I heard bootfalls coming right after my trap was ready to go. "You up for the main event now?!"

I noticed Vanitas had disappeared as soon as I destroyed the Laser Bunny with a sharp hit of Rainfall to the back of it's head. In all honesty, I hadn't much concern over it.
"I just want to find that keyhole, and continue my search for Terra..."
I turned on my heel to continue onward, keeping Rainfall at my side just in case the masked boy decided to make an unexpected reappearence. Progressing through the cave, I kept my eyes locked on the path ahead. The diamonds surrounding me still seemed to gleam with a faint light. It was a reassuring sight, especially in the darkest parts of the cave.
But rather than letting them fade out, I kept on casting a light spell on them as I walked by. Fortunately, it wasn't depleting my magic power, so I could sustain the lights for as long as Rainfall was still present in my hand.
Once I reached the end of the narrow path I walked through, I heard a voice... 'Vanitas... I whispered, my eyes narrowed into slits. As I entered the larger room, it was as if my wish had been granted: there were far more diamonds here than the other sector.
Of course, all smart warriors knew to let the enemy make the first move. So rather than casting the light spell right away, I waited, standing in casual battle posture.
---
III. Aqua makes no intention to attack just yet. But she had taken direct notice to the diamonds in accordance to her previous strategy. You can: I. Coax her with words. II. Start off the fight right away! III. See what she does first. There's no way for her to win either way.

( ~.~ First choice after mucho deliberation.)
"Oh~! You're letting me look around here in peace to find the best way to blow this pop stand? Gee, I suppose a thanks is needed~."
Wait...the Gems that had failed to be set as a part of the trap I made... when I glanced over them, I felt a slight thrum, in my head, like a pulsing heartbeat. Had I found it? The way to get to the world's core? I knew that a person could absorb some slight darkness and it could be nurtured - I had to make a first move...to see if it was true. Making the darkness in my own system flare up without setting off the gems was a little troubling, but I could manage this easily with the minor respite she gave me!
"Light and darkness... How ironic that you can banish one for a while, yet that its polar opposite'll ALWAYS come back...but we don't know WHEN, do we~?" This playing mostly fair was getting on my nerves... So for the next part...all I had to do was to distract her from my strategic placement so near the core...I needed to act on the defensive unless she found out my ruse... I summoned the bit of my enhanced aura around Schwarzwind, and spun my blade about almost as if I had a Shot Lock readied... but I wasn't facing her perfectly, but I could watch her out of the corner of my eye. "Fly away!" It was hard to fire off a cutting gale of a Dark Aero around the floor to mask my shot of darkness to the gemstones that weren't behaving! And there it absorbed again!
Perfect! I HAVE found it! The thrumming was louder to me... but I had blown my cover partway...I wasn't one to like defensive magic, and I usually went for OVERKILL when I did such a thing that I considered normally a nuiscance. This battle's course was now a timed rush to get going or get consumed, as long as I could keep up my concentration on that aspect. I had thought that she would've stopped to ask me in what scale was I trying to cause misfortune~! It was a bit hard to realize the GREAT feeling of big mayhem if she took no chances to stop me, and fast!
"Hey, come on and attack me already! Tick tock..." That aura I sent there was minute in comparison...but if I could nurture it from a distance, then I'd have this world out of light here in a few hours of sheer concentration...unless there was some magic to counter what I was doing.
