"It's quiet..."
A breeze of chilly morning air hit the blunette's skin as she stepped outside the castle doors, the castle she called her home. It’s been so long since she first arrived, she almost forgot of her other home back on the other world.
‘But it’s here where I’ve found a family… a home…’ The thought placed in the front of her mind drew a smile to her face, a warm sensation coming from within her heart. She placed both hands against the warmth, closing her eyes. Reminiscences of where she came from were so distant, almost hard to keep track of nowadays. She didn’t hate her original world, nor did she love it on any specific grounds.
But she never called it ‘home’. It never really felt like one. It simply felt like just ‘another world’, though she found anywhere else she traveled fascinating, no matter what… As to why she didn’t remember much about it… She wasn’t quite sure herself.
“Or maybe… I’ve just forgotten so much of it, I’m really not sure whether I loved or hated it…” she chuckled. All she could remember was being able to muster up more courage than she could possibly ever imagine here, in the Land of Departure, upon meeting Master Eraqus and Terra.
She was a shy young girl prior to meeting the two. Inner strength and courage were two things that never quite mixed with younger Aqua way back when. The only times she ever summoned Rain Fall were for means of self-defense against everything. As a matter of fact, in her first practice match against Master, she nearly knocked him off his feet with her Reflect barrier. As he said himself, ‘an unusually strong shield for such a juvenile Keybearer…’. It took a good push-and-shove from Terra to get her on her feet, and to start throwing out some punches of her very own.
Even the magic that she didn’t know she had started to emerge from gathered confidence. Apparently, having a natural gift with magic was something rare amongst most Keyblade Wielders; it was a skill that was most commonly taught. It came to Aqua so naturally, it was rather abnormal for quite a while. In time, all three of them had adjusted nicely to her methods and it became like an everyday routine.
“But enough about dwelling on the past... This is where I am, here and now... Just have to keep moving forward.”
She shook the memories from her mind, descending the stairs that lead to the main doors. She kept a steady pace over to the edge of the world where she occasionally sat at night to watch the stars shine in the later hours of nightfall. Of course, it was morning, but it still made for a nice place to enjoy a cup of tea and the crisp sounds of the nature surrounding her.
Making a comfortable seat for herself on the ledge, she stretched her arms over her head, letting them drop back at her side, yawning tiredly. Eyes gazing into the sunrise, mesmerized by the faint rays of red, gold yellow and orange, she mused on how she had never seen a rainy day in this desolate world. Snow had fallen quite possibly a few times during her stay here, but she doesn’t remember it as vividly as she should.
“So much sun… That’s probably why.”
The way she phrased that contained no hint of coldness toward the big fiery ball of light deep in space… She sounded almost amused.
“It’s warm… like the heart of the universe…” She brought her knees to her chest, resting her chin on the caps, drifting off into a light sleep.

. O o (I don't typically go for fanmade past stories... But given that I'm taking into this Aqua role seriously, I want to develop a solid foundation for her beginnings prior to BbS.)
